About the Institute
NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY (NSCBIP) is a Pharmacy Institute in Eastern India. The institute first started its journey with 4 years B.Pharm. course in the year 2004. The first batch of B.Pharm. students was passed in the year 2008. In the next 4 years three courses of M.Pharm. were started in three specializations. The institute is approved by Govt. of West Bengal, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) University, WB.
About the Library
NSCBIP has its own Library of 150 sqm floor area. It have more than 8000 books on Pharmacy subjects including reference books, more than 25 physical journals and more than 330 eJournals subscribed under DELNET to serve the students, staff members for the pursuit of knowledge and research. The library provides open access to all the students, teaching and non-teaching staff members through OPAC system. A reading room with a seating capacity of 60 students is made available along with free WIFI connection. A photocopying and scanning facility is also provided in the Library.
